if there are similarities there must be a difference like this
proverb, adsense and analytics are also often different, due to various
factors
following expression of the google about the differences:
If you see a significant difference between reporting data in your
AdSense account and those in the AdSense section of Google Analytics,
keep in mind the following points:
Google Analytics only records data for AdSense ad unit content,
and do not include link units, search boxes, mobile ads, or any other
AdSense products.
You must include the Analytics tracking code on each web page that run
AdSense for content ad units to match both Analytics and AdSense
reports.
If the tracking code and account set up correctly, and you see the
difference AdSense and Analytics data in the report, it may be caused
by one of the following:
Iframes: AdSense uses an iframe to serve ads. Browsers that do not support the <iframe> tag do not report an impression in Analytics. This can result in Analytics counting more than the number of page views AdSense impressions.
Security
or other blocking software: Software that can block content, such as
firewalls, ad blocker, or a blocker pictures of other 3rd party, also
can block AdSense impressions. Users with the types of installations are still counted in
Analytics, but the impression and AdSense data will not be counted in
your Analytics reports.
AdSense
/ new Analytics integration: It can take up to 24 hours after you link
your AdSense and Analytics accounts before the data are collected. If
you've just configured AdSense or Analytics code, or have recently
linked your account, wait at least 24 hours before the data appears in
your report. AdSense data collected before you link your accounts can not appear in Analytics.
Setting
Time Zone: If the time zone in Analytics and AdSense account does not
match, each product aggregate data into different time periods for the
same date shown in the report. Edit the properties to change the time zone in Analytics.
Analytics saw filters: Analytics lets you create different reporting views. You can add a filter to the view to exclude specific data, so you can customize the data that you see in your report. AdSense
data associated with a session that is screened from view Analytics
also excluded from all the Analytics reports in that view. Learn more about filters in Analytics.
Missing data Analytics: If the Analytics data is not collected, as if
the tracking code is not executed, the data associated with the AdSense
Analytics data is lost also not reported in Analytics.
